The paintings in the collection are in the exhibition called "The Heart of The Traveller". They have been inspired by all things that come into my life, near and far.
The Highlands of Chiapas
The works in the collection are inspired by the amazing textiles and life in general near San Cristóbal de las Casas. The surrounding communities from Chamula, Zinacantán, Chenalhó and many more, have fiestas for their Saints day and the living art of their clothing is a constant source of wonder and amazement.
The food in the markets is displayed so beautifully and is very fresh. Right now, I am a bit obsessed with beans, a major source of food for the people here. Beans = life source...
